The Coord-Surgery will:
Interacts with patients and their families, physicians and/or office staff. Answers phone and schedules appointments, procedures and surgeries via telephone or in person. Responsible for assuring the needs of the patient, physicians and practice are met in a manner that would be recognized to be efficient and professional. This position is also responsible for all financial clearance for surgeries, precertifications, and coordination of services. In addition, the position is responsible for office administrative activities, i.e., surgical monthly volume statistic reports, administrative calendars for physicians, and oversees OR schedule to maximize volume and physician productivity. May cover the clinical assistants when necessary, if the respective employee has those qualifications.

Requirements:

• Requires a level of knowledge acquired in the first year of college, technical or business school.
• Must have superior communication skills. Ability to work well with individuals in all areas of the Saint Peter’s. Demonstrated understanding of effective customer service skills. Must be knowledgeable of Word, Excel and other computer programs.
• Medical/Clinical Assistant experience strongly preferred.
• Spanish/English strongly preferred.


Salary Range: 20.13 - 32.19 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
