Bachelor's degree or higher in Biological Sciences.
Successful completion of a 12-month Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Cytotechnology program.
1+ years' experience.

The role you’ll contribute\:
Cytotechnologist performs anatomical pathology procedures as certified. Requires the exercise of independent judgement under minimum supervision. Work customarily involves procedures, cytopreparation and slide screening, which require a high degree of theoretical and practical knowledge, and expertise in a certified area.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Performs microscopic examination of both non-gynecologic and gynecologic specimens for evidence of precancerous lesions, cancer, inflammatory processes, organisms and other pathological conditions.
Enters diagnosis into the LIS system.
Tracks daily slide screening and other cytology QA/QC.
Processes gynecologic, non-gynecologic & fine needle aspiration (FNA) specimens.
Assists pathologists on FNA/core biopsy (ROSE) procedures in special radiologic settings.
