Looking to hire a Lead Medical Technologist in Boston, MA. As a Lead Medical Technologist, under the direction of the Blood Bank Supervisor provides the technical and quality leadership for the Blood Bank Laboratory. Your responsibilities include performing routine and specialty bench testing, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance, accurate performance of all procedures, coordinating staff scheduling and workload,, inventory and ordering of supplies, training of new personnel and ongoing competency assessment, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting, creation and maintenance of procedures, quality assurance data collection and analysis, and performance of record review.

THE SKILLS SET NEEDED
- Associate’s degree in medical technology or related science.
- 3 years full-time experience as Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
PREFERRED SKILLS SET
- ASCP certification or equivalent.
- 6 years in an accredited blood center or transfusion service.
