About the Emergency Department

路 The Emergency Department at Montrose Regional Health is a Level III Trauma Center staffed 24 hours per day by Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians and RNs who are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and in Trauma Care.

About The Career:

路 The Registered Nurse Supervisor provides first-line operational supervision of the delivery, implementation and evaluation/improvement of direct patient care emergency medicine and nursing services and personnel in assigned functional unit/area(s) within a 24/7 Emergency Services Department. The nursing supervisor is responsible for the supervision of all nursing and unit-based personnel and the provision of a safe, caring environment for patient/family and staff which fosters professional nursing practice, shared decision-making, interdisciplinary teamwork and collaboration resulting in positive patient and staff outcomes.

All About You:

  • Current Colorado or compact state RN license or ability to become licensed.
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor's, Associated, or Diploma in Nursing.
  • BLS required upon hire. ACLS, TNCC and PALS or ENPC within 6 months.
