Speech Pathologist

We seek a speech pathologist to collaborate with our existing team in the care of patients (mostly supported by the NDIS). The case load is diverse including patient with both communication and swallowing difficulties. There is flexibility for the successful applicant to choose their available hours (weekdays, weekends and after hours) as well as flexibility to engage them as a contractor or employee.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivery of individually-tailored services to children and adults with speech, language, communication and/or swallowing difficulties
• Preparation of professional written reports
• Liaise with others in the team to ensure team approach and optimize patient outcomes

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

• A passion for evidence-based practice
• Experience in working with patients experiencing speech, language, communication and/or swallowing difficulties
• An ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
• Excellent communication skills

Relevant university degree, professional body registration and insurances
