Job Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
• Analyze biological specimens, record data, and report laboratory results accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure the highest standards of laboratory safety and quality control.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to interpret results and discuss patient data.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and students in laboratory procedures.

Essential Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
• Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or equivalent is required.
• Must have at least 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.

Desired Experience

• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment and technology.
• Familiarity with quality assurance and regulatory compliance standards in laboratory practices.
