About the Role:

As a Medical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare system by performing complex laboratory tests that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results, which are vital for effective patient care. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
  • Certification as a Medical Technologist by an accrediting board.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a registered Medical Technologist

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with advanced laboratory techniques and instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Additional certifications in specialized areas of medical technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a variety of laboratory tests on biological samples, including blood, urine, and tissue.
  • Analyze test results and communicate findings to physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate testing.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and quality control measures to maintain laboratory standards.
  • Document all procedures and results in compliance with regulatory requirements.
