Medical Laboratory Scientist - Evening Shift

5x8 hours evenings, Monday to Friday, with no weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will hold an ASCP certification, with BLS and ASCP-MLS preferred. This position requires independent work within a clinical laboratory setting, specifically with blood bank experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and analyze results accurately.
• Communicate results effectively to healthcare teams.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in the training of new staff on laboratory procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience preferred.
• ASCP certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with blood bank procedures is mandatory.
