Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist with recent Blood Bank experience. The ideal candidate will possess a commitment to excellence in patient care and laboratory practices.

Responsibilities

• Performing laboratory tests and procedures within the Blood Bank department.
• Ensuring compliance with laboratory standards and regulations.
• Maintaining accurate records and documenting results in the laboratory information system.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty.
• Must possess one of the following certifications: ASCP, AMT, or AAB.
• Candidate must be a Medical Laboratory Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist. Med Lab Technicians will not be considered.

Winter Holiday Expectations

MUST work 1 major holiday of the 2: Christmas Day or New Year's Day, and 1 minor holiday: Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve.
