Job Description

The Travel Medical Technologist/MLS ASCP will perform diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and monitoring of various disease states. This role involves following standardized procedures, preparing samples for testing, and analyzing test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing on patient samples.
• Follow standardized procedures and help prepare samples for testing.
• Analyze test results for accuracy and critical limits.
• Utilize a limited degree of creativity and latitude in planning and accomplishing goals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid Florida license at the time of submission.
• ASCP certification as a generalist is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary.
• Blood bank experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
