We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Professor in Microbiology<\/b> to lead the department, engage in academic teaching, oversee laboratory operations, and promote research and quality in microbiological sciences in compliance with NMC guidelines.
<\/p>

Key Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/h3>

• Provide leadership in teaching undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD) medical students.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Supervise and manage departmental operations, including teaching schedules, faculty coordination, and lab work.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Guide and mentor Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, and Junior Residents.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Conduct and promote high -quality research, thesis guidance, and scholarly publications.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Ensure compliance with NMC norms, infection control protocols, and biomedical waste management.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Collaborate with clinical departments for diagnostic microbiology and infection control activities.
  <\/p><\/li>

• Organize and participate in academic activities, CMEs, seminars, and workshops.
  <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

  Qualifications:<\/b>
  <\/h3>

  • MBBS + MD (Microbiology)<\/b> from an NMC -recognized institution.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Minimum 8 years of teaching experience<\/b>, including 3 years as Associate Professor.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Should fulfill all NMC/MCI eligibility norms for the post of Professor.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Must be registered with the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council.

    • Expertise in bacteriology, virology, mycology, parasitology, and immunology
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Strong academic, administrative, and leadership skills

      <\/p><\/li>

    • Excellent communication, mentoring, and team management abilities
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Familiarity with NABL/NABH standards and infection control systems
