Microbiologists are responsible for conducting microbiological on cannabis samples, interpreting results, and ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of testing procedures in an ISO 17025 accredited testing laboratory. <\/div>

• Perform routine microbiological tests on cannabis samples, including microbial enumeration, pathogen detection, and microbial identification. <\/div>
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and test methods to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with ISO 17025 standards and regulatory requirements. <\/div>
• Prepare culture media, reagents, and samples for analysis, following established protocols and safety guidelines. <\/div>
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments for microbial testing, including incubators, autoclaves, microscopes, and colony counters. <\/div>
• Document test results, observations, and deviations accurately and promptly in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems. <\/div>
• Assist with data analysis, quality control checks, and method validation studies as needed. <\/div>
• Adhere to health and safety protocols, including the proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials. <\/div><\/span>
Requirements<\/h3>
• Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biology, or a related field. <\/div>
• Prior laboratory experience or coursework in microbiology is preferred but not required. <\/div>
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow instructions. <\/div>
