Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Material Engineering, related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in managing test labs operations, including equipment maintenance, calibration, and vendor management.
  • Experience in managing inventory control systems and facilities.
  • Experience with semiconductor test equipment (ATE) hardware, load boards, thermal control systems and SLT.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with EHS regulations and safety protocols.
  • Knowledge of shipping/receiving logistics for sensitive silicon products.
  • Ability to implement lab automation tools and efficient workflow processes.

As a Silicone Test Engineering Lab Manager, you will ensure our engineers have the tools, environment, and safety standards they need to succeed. You will drive operational excellence, optimize lab resource utilization, and work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain a testing facility. You will work with various groups to deploy best practices for lab organizations. You will drive the readiness of the lab for mass production testing requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the silicon engineering lab, ensuring 24/7 readiness and high availability of Automated Test Equipment (ATE), SLT, BI and bench setups for engineering teams.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of lab assets, including the installation, maintenance, and calibration of equipment testers, thermal control units, and measurement instruments, managing vendor relationships for repairs and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan lab capacity, floor layouts, and infrastructure to support New Product Introduction (NPI) and future scaling.
  • Create an infrastructure for execution jobs release, reports, alerts, efficiency and metrics, automation, quality measurements.
  • Manage lab logistics and inventory, including the secure shipping/receiving of silicon material, units inventory control, asset tracking of loadboards/probe cards, and procurement of lab consumables.
