EP Lab Manager (RN)

Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced EP Lab Manager (RN) for a full-time, permanent leadership opportunity in Austin, Texas.

The EP Lab Manager provides leadership and supervision to assigned employees within the Electrophysiology (EP) Labs and coordinates clinical operations with other departments. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the EP labs, directing nursing and support staff while coordinating patient flow to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the Electrophysiology Labs, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality outcomes  

• Supervise nursing and support staff assigned to the EP Lab  

• Conduct employee performance appraisals, including goal setting and development planning  

• Communicate departmental, educational, and administrative updates through staff meetings and in-service education  

• Ensure compliance with nursing standards of care and regulatory requirements  

• Oversee accuracy and completeness of patient records and daily charge capture  

• Participate in budget development, inventory management, and cost control initiatives  

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support clinical excellence and operational efficiency  

Program Overview:

• Dedicated Electrophysiology program (separate from IR and Cath Lab)  

• Program name: Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute  

• Six fully functioning EP labs, with a seventh lab under construction  

• Oversight includes EP Lab, Pre/Post Surgical areas, and AFib Center  

• Mapping systems include Carto, Abbott Precision, Boston Arrhythmia, and additional systems used for research studies  

• FTE range: 54–61, including two Supervisors and one Clinical Nurse Coordinator  

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: Up to $130,998.40  

• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

Education & Licensure:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required

Experience:

• Must have acute care nursing experience

• Prior leadership or management experience in an EP Lab, Cath Lab, or related procedural area strongly preferred
