Job Description

The Medical Technologist (MLT) will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, interpreting results and ensuring quality control is maintained. The role requires specific training and a strong focus on Blood Bank protocols, along with effective collaboration within the laboratory team.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Integrate quality control measures to ensure optimal results.
• Collaborate with medical staff to interpret test results and provide appropriate consultation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
• BLS certification.
• ASCP or AMT registration.
• Proficient training in Blood Bank.
• Must have a permanent address more than 50 miles from the facility.
