Microbiologist
Summary:
Responsible for performing laboratory test procedures to support production in the process of approving product release; accountable to analyze and assess trends, recommend new or improved procedures including the thorough ,validation of new processes and on-going monitoring of systems and equipment. This position acts as sole authority to interpret results of product testing and determination of product disposition.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Environmental monitoring (total air particulate, viable air and surfaces) of the plant controlled work zones.
- Conduct required microbiological tests and interpret results to ensure quality products for release or to place product on hold; such tests include:
- Accountable to assess, develop, write and implement protocols as needed for improved testing and quality of product including lots of stuf
Qualifications
- Candidate Education:
- Required Bachelor's Degree
- Required Other With equivalent experience, other college major with some college level course work in Biology or Microbiology may be acceptable.
- Preferred Other Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology or Physics
